Info from Licensor: "The climber being filmed is Curtis Damon, we were working for a hazard tree removal program along a remote transmission line on the west coast of BC. This tree had a significant lean towards a vital power line and didn’t have many years left before it fell over on its own. This tree measured over 6’ in diameter at the base and over 200’ tall. It was so large that its lowest limb was higher than the canopy of the rest of the forest around it. I took the video roughly 100’ off the ground sitting on the top of another tree. The stub was left standing as a wildlife tree for animals and birds to use as a home as the tree degrades over the years. We work for a company called Integrated Operations Group based on Vancouver Island, specializing in trees like this that most people shy away from."
