A woman discovered a rare daisy fasciation in Cheshire, on May 10, which displays an extraordinary amalgamation of twenty daisies merged together

Hazel Hughes, 42, is a single mother from Cheshire, captured this footage after her son surprised her with a daisy.

She said: "I’ve never seen anything like it. It looks like 20 daisies joined together."

She decided to share this marvel on TikTok and to her surprise the video went viral, accumulating over 1.5 million views.

Hazel discovered that these rare flowers, known as fasciations, exemplify resilience, adapting under adverse conditions.

She further commented: "I learned that these rare flowers are known as fasciations that are usually born out of adversity and they adapt under pressure, be it from the environment, bacteria, fungus or weather.

"This resonated with me on a personal level as I live with long COVID and a complex disability.

"We are all here because of thousands upon thousands of years of evolving in response to pressures. We are all a result of miraculous and improbable genetics and for those of us who are sick, I think this little daisy is a reminder that we are all beautifully unique"
