At the ongoing Qinghai International Tibetan Carpet Exhibition, businessmen from home and abroad have brought exquisite carpets to tap into the market in China and share the culture of carpet.

The four-day expo kicked off on Friday in Xining, the capital of NW China's Qinghai Province.

"What I have here is a beautiful collection of carpets that carry an old culture from an old land. And this culture we share with China, because through the Silk Road we have been connected for so long.
I think art is the same everywhere. We have different carpets. I have been here for very long. The first time I came to China was in 2011, and since then I have really fallen in love with the culture here.
I really enjoy being here and sharing my culture, sharing the art of Persian carpets. That is the main objective, and then the business comes when the passion is there."
