37 people were injured in a gas explosion in Paris, France, yesterday (June 22). The incident occurred in a building that housed a design school and the Catholic education system headquarters near Rue Saint Jacques in the city’s fifth arrondissement. 270 firefighters were deployed to the scene.

The cause of the blast is currently unknown. The explosion caused the collapse of part of the building.

Four people remain in critical condition.
