French bulldog can't cope after being sedated during vet's visit for an x-ray
Adorable video shows French bulldog cocker spaniel mix Woofy enjoying her high after returning from a 'trip' to the vet.
Woofy was sedated in order to have an x-ray where the vet found she had a partially torn ACL.
Jenna Ferraro, 25, took Woofy to the vet after noticing her five-year-old dog was "limping and had a change of behaviour"."
The vet gave Woofy pain medication - which left her feeling strangely calm in the car on the way home.
Jenna said: "She's usually panting and shaking and going to the bathroom on the seat, but she just sat and enjoyed the ride."
Footage after arriving home shows Woofy lazing in the bath and spaced out on the couch.
Jenna, from Long Island, New York, USA, said: "When we got home, she would just stand in weird places that she doesn't normally stand in, stare into space and fall asleep standing up."
She was worried that her behavior wasn't normal, but the vet assured her there was no reason to be concerned.
Jenna set up a GoFundMe on her TikTok page (@woofyandjenna) to help pay for Woofy's medications, and she hopes that they won't have to resort to surgery.
"She is no longer limping, but she's still not at 100 percent. We're hoping to continue with this positive recovery."
