'Never felt more single': Tourists leave the internet in hysterics queuing for HOURS to stroke a statue in a VERY peculiar spot PART 2/3
A bunch of tourists have left Instagram users stunned after a video began circulating of them stroking a statue in an unusual way… grabbing the famous monument by its balls.
Kamao Luy, from New York City, took the clip while walking through the center of the city and passing ‘The Charging Bull’– a 7,100-pound bronze sculpture situated on Wall Street.
The 35-year-old is used to travelers lining up for hours to see the piece by artist Arturo Di Modica.
But he was left baffled by some of the day’s visitors, who decided to get particularly up close and personal with the bull – and decided to capture the moment on camera.
In Kamao’s clip, the tourists can be seen grabbing the statue’s balls, posing with their heads right by its b-m cheeks – rather than the front, which show’s the face.
The local later shared it on social media, where it has over 50,000 likes.
“I was in disbelief but they do line up all day every day in long lines,” Kamao, who works in construction, told NeedToKnow.co.uk.
“It happens all the time.”
The video from Lower Manhattan shows the tourists queuing up by a bull statue.
Kamao can be heard saying: “I don't know if they do this in y’all state, but in my state, New York, they line up in long lines.
“Just so they can take a picture and grab some balls.” [sic]
While filming a couple, he then jokes: “Hey honey, let’s grab these balls together.”
Thousands of amused users have rushed to the comment section.
Dee said: “I work on the same block and I see this every day lol.” [sic]
Tee added: “Why even put them on the statue fr.” [sic]
Chris wrote: “Being from NY you walk pass this s**t like it's nothing.” [sic]
“Never felt more single knowing that I was alone in my ball-grabbing picture,” joked Eliza.
“I thought you were supposed to grab the bull by the horns I guess I’m confused,” said Frankie.
“White men be obsessed wit male genitals,” added Chance. [sic]
“Because the balls is the good luck part,” commented ZuZu.
