This devoted mother took her parenting skills to the next level by crafting hearing aids for her deaf son's Woody doll from "Toy Story".

Wendy Wuu from New York City got the idea after she couldn't find any toys that looked like her 5-year-old son Deej.

Using nail acrylic she managed to make hearing aids that matched her son's ones.

She told Newsflare: "I wanted my child to feel included. We never see other children/people with hearing aids or cochlear implants in our community.

"I shop around for toys that look like Deej and I never find any so I took it upon myself to make some for his favourite characters."

A heartwarming clip at the end shows the delighted kid showing off his customised toy and comparing the hearing aids to his own.
