Bison in Yellowstone charging our vehicl after they had stampede across the road from us
It was May 30, 2023…This was our first day visiting Yellowstone National Park. We had already seen several grizzly bears at a distance and plenty of bison grazing in the valleys when we encounter 30 to 40 bison with young ones running around a large mound of dirt very close to the road we were traveling on. After pulling over we started filming this highly active scene. I made 3 videos of the bison running, jumping.and charging each other During the 3rd video the bison broke away from the hill they were on and charged across the road towards our vehicle. Fortunately for us none of the bison damaged the car…. .it was an exciting but also scary encounter
