312798504 Motorized Mannequin Kicks Christmas Lights Prank Up a Notch
After seeing some photos of people hanging motionless dummies with clothes from their roof next to Christmas lights, I decided to kick it up with some animatronics. I took a mannequin of Michael Myers from Halloween (that I build with PVC) and I disassembled the lower half to add swinging legs, a motorized mechanism, sound with speakers and hooked it all up to a motion detector so the legs and sound would activate whenever someone walked or drove by the house. Many comments say that this would be too loud and annoying all night long but with the motion detector it only activates when there is motion nearby.
