This cute poodle clearly doesn't like being told off.

Footage has emerged from China of the dog appearing to cry tears like a human while it's being told off for secretly eating a few packs of nuts.

In the video, the dog keeps blinking its eyes while it's being reprimanded, and a tear appears to be dripping down from one of its eyelids.

At the end of the footage, the owner tells the dog to go to sleep and the poor creature submissively runs to its bed with a pitiful face.

According to local media, the poodle's owner Mr Wu filmed the bizarre video in Haikou, Hainan Province on Sunday.
