Info from Licensor: "‘Black Leg,' or commercial name Halloween Vampire Crab, is a species of small semi-terrestrial crabs, native to Java, Indonesia. Most Geosesarma species live in tropical forests near freshwater streams. It spends most of its time on land, but also often submerges in freshwater, including when it molts. Vampire Crab is an omnivorous scavenger and an opportunistic hunter on occasion. It’s communal with its own species but often aggressive with other types of crabs, including other vampire crab species. Females are darker in color than males and have smaller pincers. Vampire Crabs are nocturnal and shy, with an average lifespan of 1-2 years."
