Muslim prayer at a significant pro-Palistine protest on Kensington High Street on Monday, 9 October that demanded to free Palestine from Israel's Apartheid. This year's Pro-Palestine Protest in Kensington followed a surprise attack of the Supernova music festival in Southern Israel by Hamas gunmen on Saturday, 7 October. Around 250 young people are believed to have been murdered at the festival by the militant group. Retaliatory measures by Israel led to a major military confrontation between Israel and Gaza with hundreds killed and numerous hostages on both sides. Up to 150 people are held hostage by Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip. Israel is committed to obliteration of Hamas infrastructure at any cost. The Palestinian territories are two regions of the former British Mandate for Palestine - the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Gaza is a narrow piece piece of land on the eastern coast of the Mediterranean Sea, boardering on Egypt and Israel. It is densely populated and impoverished.
