Japan: Barricade Situation At Post Office After Hospital Shooting In Saitama 3
An apparent shooting was reported at a hospital in Toda, Saitama Prefecture, on Tuesday, October 31, leaving two people, a doctor and a patient, injured.
The gunman was arrested on suspicion of violating the Hostage Extortion Punishment Act after he barricaded himself in a post office in a neighboring city for more than eight hours with hostages.
