An investigation for spying on a group of judges, among them members of the Supreme Court, took an unexpected turn after Fabian "Conu" Rodriguez, an official of La Campora (youth political organization of 'kirchnerismo') who today holds a key position in the Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP), was raided following the recovery of some deleted messages from the cell phone of imprisoned former policeman Ariel Zanchetta, an inorganic spy who claims to be a journalist.

In Zanchetta's phone there are also dialogues with Kirchnerist congressman Rodolfo Tailhade, who was listed among his contacts. Among these conversations there is a link sent by Zanchetta to the legislator with the dialogues of the participants.

"After 40 years of democracy, Argentine politics is going to have to raise its sights a lot because it cannot be that the institutions are kidnapped by the intelligence services. They can manage life, honor and make fear the functioning of the State in favor of their own. We are not going to abandon this (the investigation), we are going to do what needs to be done. It cannot be used as a lever to use the State, to charge the State, to produce a framework that ends up almost like when drug trafficking takes over the State."
