2023 Xichang Qionghai Lake Wetland Marathon was held on Saturday in Xichang City, southwest China's Sichuan Province.
21,191 runners from more than 10 countries and regions including France, Britain, Poland, Ethiopia, Kenya, South Korea, participated in the race.
Three events were set up for this year's marathon: marathon, half marathon and mini run.
After a fierce competition, Asnake Dubre Negawo from Ethiopia won the men's marathon with a time of two hours, 14 minutes and 27 seconds, and his compatriot Emane Seifu Hayile won the women's marathon with a time of two hours, 31 minutes and 19 seconds.
China's Yang Kegu from Sichuan Province won the men's half-marathon in one hour, six minutes and 18 seconds, while the women's half-marathon title went to China's Feng Dan in one hour, 19 minutes and 52 seconds.
Xichang Qionghai Wetland Marathon was held for the first time in 2014.
