Chubby pug waddles over to owner for back rub
A chubby pet pug in Phetchabun province, Thailand, showed that size is no barrier to affection.
Footage showed eight-year-old pooch Mee Tang, weighing 17kg (37 pounds), approaching his owner Chanidapa Saptemanan and sitting in front of her to be massaged, on May 20.
Despite their cuteness, pugs are prone to illnesses thanks to their limited ability to breathe.
One common problem is obesity. With their breathing issues they are unable to be as active as other dogs -- Thailand's tropical climate no doubt does not help -- and thus can gain weight more easily.
