Passengers were stranded for hours inside trains on the Elizabeth Line and rail services to Heathrow on Thursday night, December 7, due to a power outage caused by damage to overhead electric cables.
Many passengers traveling to Heathrow were missing flights due to the delay. Some forced open doors and jumped down onto the tracks to evacuate after waiting for hours in the freezing carriages.
