Resident rescues hapless squirrel trapped inside plastic bottle
This is the moment a resident rescued a hapless squirrel trapped inside a plastic bottle.
Veeraphon found the rodent stuck inside the plastic container while sorting through rubbish at his antique shop in Kamphaeng Phet, Thailand, on June 14.
He took a pair of scissors and cut open the plastic bottle to free the animal, which was weakened but still alive.
Veeraphon said: 'The squirrel is still small so I plan to take care of it until it grows strong enough to survive on its own.'
