My three Alaskan Malamutes love to start the day by howling a wake up song to put everyone in a good mood
I never know exactly when and why a wake up song commences but what I do know that every howling session is a labour of love from the heart. Sojou, Dotty and Fish connect to each other and their wolf ancestors . A Saturday morning ritual that marks a new day. I love listening to their harmonizing wondering just how the melody will take shape. It is far more complex than imagined. Intricate and delicate tones mixed with powerful wolfy vocals. There is always a sudden beginning, a middle and a surprise end.
