Heartbreaking scene in Chiapas, Mexico, as authorities rescue 20 spider monkeys, including vulnerable infants, crammed in plastic boxes in a bus's luggage compartment. The monkeys, showing signs of stress and dehydration, were swiftly provided medical attention. The species, Ateles geoffroyi, is endangered, and their trafficking is prohibited. Wildlife officials and experts are caring for the rescued primates.
