Footage of police and forensics officers on the scene of a murder in Allerton Bywater, Leeds, UK on Tuesday night.

The bodies of a woman and two children were found in the house yesterday while a man was found dead in north Wales later in the day in what police are describing as a linked incident.

Scenes from Beeston Way in Allerton Bywater where bodies of a woman and 2 children were discovered. The police were called at 10:50am after concerns were raised of their whereabouts. West Yorkshire Police said the woman was found downstairs while the 2 children were upstairs. Officers are treating it as murder though initial indications were that it was a domstic related incident.

Det Ch Insp Warren Stevenson said police were still informing family members and were not able to confirm the identity of the victims.
"Post-mortem examinations are yet to take place to establish the causes of their deaths but the victims have died in suspicious circumstances and therefore we are treating their deaths as murder," he said.

West Yorkshire Police are liaising with North Wales officers after a mans body was found on cliffs in North Wales. Officers found the man shortly after 5 pm. West Yorkshire Police believe the finds were linked.
