Bakery collapse tragedy in Lisichansk: 28 dead, 10 rescued after shelling; LPR declares mourning
On February 4, 2024, a devastating incident unfolded in Lisichansk, Russia, as a bakery collapsed following shelling, resulting in a tragic toll. The rescue operation, executed by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, concluded with the retrieval of ten individuals, while 28 lost their lives, including a child. Among the survivors, four individuals are in critical condition in intensive care, with an additional two deemed seriously injured. The LPR has declared a period of mourning in response to the profound loss.
