A dad living in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Canada, was left teary-eyed after his daughter gifted him a surprise trip to Greece to his favourite band Coldplay.

The father is handed a piece of paper which he unrolls and begins to read: "Picture yellow golden sand, as you stare at the clocks while we wait to go on our trip to go and see Coldplay in Greece."

"Are you s***ing me?" the dad responds.

His daughter, Jay, who recorded the video told Newsflare: "My dad has been listening to Coldplay since day one and their music has brought so much joy to our family. I am so excited for my dad to be able to experience his one true wish in life.

"From the day I was born, dad's been bumping Coldplay in his little blue truck."
