Semi-Truck Blown Over By Wind
I was traveling down I-55 S around mile marker 145 in Illinois. In a span of 9 minutes, the sky went from blue to black and I was struck on the side by a gust of wind. The trailer was super light, with very little cargo inside, was easy to blow over. The tractor and trailer were sent on its driver side. No other vehicles were involved in the wreck. Both the Driver and the Codriver, who was sleeping in the back, walked away with minimal injuries.
