Aeronautical workers carry out this Wednesday a 24-hour strike in demand of a wage increase, which forced airlines to cancel about 400 flights across the country and affected about 35,000 passengers, in a measure that was described by the national government as a "squeeze" by the unionists.

The national strike in Aerolineas Argentinas and Intercargo began at midnight on Tuesday and lasted throughout the day, causing serious inconveniences to passengers at the metropolitan airport.

Only the low cost Flybondi was operating from Ezeiza International Airport, as it had its own assistance on the runway, as well as American Airlines.
