In a daring operation in the Hamad area of Khan Yunis, soldiers from the IDF's elite Egoz Unit encountered armed Hamas members in a building. The soldiers were conducting targeted raids on Hamas infrastructure when they were met with gunfire from the Hamas members.

Using a drone to identify the Hamas members, the soldiers returned fire and launched a precision 'Matador' missile at the room where the armed Hamas members were hiding. Remarkably, the soldiers were able to avoid harming a woman and two children who were in an adjacent room.

The Egoz Unit successfully eliminated three armed Hamas members during the encounter, while another surrendered and was taken into custody for further interrogation. The soldiers evacuated the woman and children from the building, ensuring their safety and transferring them for medical treatment.
