This is what a cockroach looks like after giving birth
Rather unpleasant but also strangely interesting footage of a Madagascar Hissing Cockroach very shortly after giving birth to a litter of young.
The video, filmed on February 15 in Pretoria, South Africa, shows the tiny, white baby cockroaches gathering around their mother.
The filmer later wrote online: "This is my breeding tank of Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches.
"They are beautiful creatures with a lot of interesting behaviours that are misunderstood."
"I study them and my goal is to show the world the beauty in them and get people to understand they are not just creepy crawlies that are gross but rather stunning animals that live life in a very unique way," he continued.
