Seiko Australia proudly announces the launch of the "SEIKO BIRTH & REBIRTH" exhibition, commemorating 100 years since Seiko introduced its first wristwatch with "Seiko" on the dial, marking the beginning of the Seiko brand.
To celebrate this historic milestone, Seiko is excited to unveil its first pop-up exhibition in Australia, providing visitors with an exclusive look at curated Seiko exhibitions and timepiece collections, including three original stopwatches that were used to time the 1964 Games in Tokyo.
Some of the highlights include the world’s first quartz watch and the world’s first TV watch.
The free exhibition will be open to the public from Friday, 15th March 2024 to Sunday, 24th March 2024 at Mid City Centre, 420 George Street, Sydney.
In the video Mr Harumitsu Akashi from Seiko Watch Corporation gives a brief talk about some of the highlights of the exhibition.
