SpaceX launched Starlink satellites from Cape Canaveral on April 10.

The American spacecraft manufacturer conducted its 24th dedicated Starlink launch this year, deploying a new batch of satellites from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

The mission, dubbed Starlink 6-48, saw liftoff at 1:40 a.m. EDT on April 10 from Space Launch Complex 40.

The Falcon 9 booster, identified as B1083, embarked on its second journey after previously supporting the Crew-8 astronaut mission in March.

It successfully landed on the SpaceX droneship, 'Just Read the Instructions,' marking the 77th landing on the platform and the 295th overall booster landing.

With the launch, the number of Starlink satellites in low Earth orbit has reached 5,788, further expanding SpaceX's global internet coverage.

The service is now available in 74 countries, including Albania, where it was recently introduced.

In a significant development announced at the 39th Annual Space Symposium, space habitation company Vast revealed plans to integrate Starlink internet into its upcoming commercial space station, Haven-1.

Vast CEO Max Haot said 'the unparalleled capabilities of SpaceX's network, positioning it as the optimal choice for providing internet connectivity in space.'

Vast said it intends to extend Starlink services to future platforms, leveraging the technology's advancements in partnership with SpaceX.

This collaboration follows Vast's agreement with SpaceX to transport astronauts to the Haven-1 space station aboard a Falcon 9 rocket in 2025, reinforcing the companies' strategic alliance in the realm of space exploration.
