This footage was filmed and produced 11 April 2024.

Beltrami County's emergency management took an unexpected turn during routine testing at Lake Bemidji State Park, as their four-legged friend, Trax, decided to join in with the sirens. Trax, a furry resident of the park, apparently had some musical critiques about the siren's performance, adding his own howls to the mix.

In a lighthearted post, Beltrami County Emergency Management noted that Trax had given his approval of the siren's functionality, albeit with a hint of musical criticism. The post humorously mentioned that Trax found the siren "a little flat," prompting him to contribute his own unique vocals to the chorus.

While the drills for 2024 have concluded, the county reminded residents that routine testing of emergency systems is conducted on the first Wednesday of every month at 1pm. Additionally, the post playfully acknowledged the sounds of heavy breathing in the background, attributing it to the rush of Trax and his human companions to reach the designated safety area when the siren sounded.
