A homeowner in Kingsnorth, Kent, was shocked after they discovered a trail of ants from their front door all the way to the upstairs bedroom.

The filmer records as they follow the insects from the door, up the stairs, and into a bedroom where its revealed the ants had infiltrated plastic containers.

"Our spare bedroom is home to pet tarantulas who require live cockroaches to feed on. These bugs also have a pot of jelly inside the tub to keep them fed and hydrated," said the filmer.

They added: "At the weekend we suddenly noticed some random ants appearing in the house, so we looked around to see where they were coming from.

"We couldn’t believe our eyes when we saw the extent of the infestation and how far the ants were travelling within the house to get to the apparently tasty reward upstairs. We were amazed how they even found them in the first place?"
