"It's my first time writing anything in Chinese. I found it enjoyable and I am looking forward to coming here to learn."
SOUNDBITE 2 (English): RABI ZUBAIRU, Chinese language student
"I learnt a lot about Chinese calligraphy. Up until today, I thought it was just one type of calligraphy. We were taught that there are different classes actually. We are familiar with the simplified Chinese type but today we got to see the more traditional type and the history, where it originated from and how it has evolved over time. It was a fun experience."
SOUNDBITE 3 (English): JOSEPH UYENA, Chinese language student
"I have always thought that there was only one way to write some characters but today I learnt that there is an ancient way and the modern way. I also learnt how the characters originated, what some characters mean. It is really interesting and fun."
