Infectious enthusiasm at the Run Dem Crew cheer zone lifts flagging London Marathon runners
At the 21st mile of the London Marathon, Run Dem Crew have been creating a party atmosphere to encourage and lift flagging runners as they pass by on the final five miles before the finish line (April 21).
Situated on a uninteresting section of the Commercial Road, the running group have been rooting for participants on a dull part of the marathon route since 2012, with loud music, their infectious enthusiasm, cheering and hugs, enough to bring a smile to the most weary of those passing by.
