With lots of sand, wind, sun and fun, the three-day Texas SandFest came to an end on April 21 in Port Aransas, Texas.
The festival is family-oriented with various activities including on-site sand castle lessons for children aged between 6 and 12, as well as daily 10-minute quick care competitions.
The event is the largest beach sand sculpture competition In the United States, according to the organizers, who divide the competitors into three types: master sculptors, semi-pro sculptors and amateurs.
