Italy: Fire Crews Work at The Industrial Warehouse in Aprilia
Aprilia, Province of Latina, Italy - May 4, 2024
At 10:35 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, the Fire Brigade intervened in the Municipality of Aprilia following reports reaching NUE 112 for a fire.
When the Aprilia territorial team arrived on site, an industrial warehouse, used as a logistics depot, was completely engulfed in flames.
In the vicinity of the structure, some vehicles were also reached by the fire.
The fire brigade battled the fire from several points with two teams, Centrale and Aprilia, and a third team from Pomezia, three tankers and Civil Protection volunteers. The entire device was coordinated by the Guard Responsibility Unit of Latina, which intervened on the spot together with the Provincial Shift Leader.
Fire shutdown operations continued throughout the night.
Around 2 o'clock on May 5, the fire was declared under control and confined to the center of the structure.
From 8 this morning, the operations of minute extinguishing and securing the area affected by the flames began.
