US, Phoenix: Phoenix Exterior Fire Damages Mattress Factory

Phoenix, United States - April 13, 2025 04/13/2025 02:30 am (GMT-0700) PHOENIX, Ariz. – Phoenix Fire Department crews responded to reports of a commercial structure fire near the 2900 block of West Thomas Road around 2:30 a.m. Sunday. Crews arrived to find a dumpster fire on the exterior of a mattress warehouse, with flames extending into the structure. Crews deployed hose lines for the fire attack and quickly knocked down the exterior flames. Crews utilized a saw to force entry into the warehouse via a roll-up door. Once inside, crews extinguished isolated hotspots near the main point of exposure. A Phoenix Fire investigator was dispatched to the scene to determine how the fire was started. No injuries have been reported, and no occupants were inside the building at the time of the incident.
