Police operation at UCLA against pro-Palestine camp in Los Angeles, California

The authorities broke up the camp that protesters set up this Thursday morning; Law enforcement had some clashes with protesters and no arrests were reported.

Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) lifted the camp of pro-Palestinian protesters that had been set up this Thursday morning on the campus of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

From 8:00 a.m. This Thursday, a group of protesters began erecting barricades in the Kerckhoff courtyard, near Moore Hall, which blocked access to a section of the campus, and which was guarded by several people wearing brightly colored vests.


Several tents were set up behind the barricade.

Shortly after noon, the arrival of law enforcement was observed, including officers from the university police and the Los Angeles and Santa Monica police departments, along with deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
