Storyline:
Yemeni officials expressed condolences to Iran’s leadership and people following the tragic death of President Ebrahim Raisi who lost his life along with his entourage in a helicopter crash on Sunday.

President Raisi, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Governor of East Azarbaijan Province Malek Rahmati, Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei's Representative to East Azerbaijan Mohammad Ali Ale-Hashem and Raisi's bodyguard were confirmed dead on Monday after the helicopter they were traveling in crashed in the country's mountainous northwestern region.

The Iranian Embassy in the Yemeni capital Sanaa held an event on Thursday to pay tribute to the late president. Yemeni officials conveyed their deep sympathy and expressed solidarity with Iran during this difficult time.
