Mexico - July 04, 2025 The Mexico City government will implement a new protocol during the second march against gentrification, scheduled for Sunday, July 20, to prevent disturbances or expressions of hate through preventive support from the capital's police and the city's Human Rights Commission. Following the disturbances that occurred last Friday, July 4, during the first march against gentrification and the right to housing, in which a group of hooded individuals dressed in black damaged businesses in the Roma neighborhood of Condesa, the city government announced that various institutions have already worked on a protocol that will be applied to future demonstrations.
