Lioness caught on camera dragging away family's 75kg Rottweiler
A lioness was caught on CCTV raiding a family's garden - then leaving with their 75kg Rottweiler in her jaws.
Footage shows the female big cat leaping onto the wall and dropping onto the grass before emerging shortly after with the pet dog in its mouth in Kenya, Nairobi.
The family were worried when the pooch, named Jaci, did not come running over to them. They checked the security camera and were horrified to see her demise.
The dog's owner Sylvia Wamai said that the whole attack happened in under 10 minutes on May 21.
She said: 'It didn't even take 10 minutes. Just like that, we lost our dog.
'We were shocked because we were outside looking for our dog and the lioness was just a few meters away from the gate.
The family home is reportedly near a national park. Local wildlife authorities said that they are investigating the incident.
