USA: Man Shot in Apartment Building Parking Structure in Encino, LA

The Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a shooting call in the 5400 block of White Oak Avenue.
Upon arrival, LAPD officers found an unresponsive victim suffering from possible gunshot wounds. The victim was found in front of an apartment building parking structure.
The victim was transported by LAFD to a local hospital in unknown condition. The Los Angeles Police Department had detained a male who was later taken into custody at the scene of the shooting.
Initial information indicated that excessive honking of a car horn by the victim had upset a tenant in the building prompting a verbal altercation that resulted in a shooting.
The victim is reported to be in stable condition.
