Shark snatches snapper: dive buddy's close call caught on camera
On June 4, 2023, off the Gulf Coast of Florida, USA, a harrowing scene unfolded as a dive buddy's routine catch turned into a heart-pounding encounter with a hungry shark. Captured on video by @_coreymccann_, the footage shows the diver shooting a snapper at a depth of approximately 120 feet. As the diver ascends towards the surface, their companion, wearing a head camera, attempts to fend off approaching sharks to no avail.
