On 18 June in Chaozhou, Guangdong, a man dining at Wallace with his family reported that his child discovered raw meat inside a half-eaten burger. The child experienced stomach pain immediately after consumption, prompting the father to file a complaint.

On the 19th, staff at the implicated restaurant confirmed the incident was due to employee error. They stated that the customer was taken to the hospital immediately following the incident, and medical examinations revealed no serious harm. The staff explained that the high number of temporary summer workers and inadequate training led to the mistake, as an undercooked burger was served due to improper handling. The restaurant is now undergoing internal rectifications and enhancing employee training.

The video was provided with permission from local media.
