Two goslings entangled in a fishing line were successfully reunited with their family by officers in Marathon County, Wisconsin, as captured in heartwarming bodycam footage released by the Wasau Police Department. The rescue took place at DC Everest Park on Sunday, June 30, where officers responded to reports of the young geese trapped with their feet tied together.

Facing the protective ire of their mother goose, officers managed to secure the two babies and carefully free them from the fishing line after a few tense moments. Once liberated, the officers returned the goslings to the shoreline of beautiful Lake Wausau, where they joyously rejoined their gaggle.
