At least 2 people have died as of Thursday, July 11, after severe flooding hit Vermont.

The devastating floods were the result of heavy rains, which started Wednesday and continued into Thursday, fueled by the remnants of Hurricane Beryl. An apartment building was washed away, roads were inundated, and rivers had crested at virtually all locations by late Thursday afternoon.
