Spain: Javier Aguirre is the new coach of the Mexican National Team in duo with Rafa Marquez

Javier Aguirre will live his third stage at the helm of the Mexican National Team, facing the 2026 World Cup to be held in Mexico, United States and Canada and will be accompanied by Rafael Marquez, but this time he will be part of his coaching staff, according to the Mexican Football Federation.
Through a video, Ivar Sisniega, president of the FMF, and Duilio Davino, director of the Senior Mexican National Team, explained the reasons why they chose Javier Aguirre as the new coach of the Aztec team; they also included Rafael Marquez as one of his assistants with a view to continuing with the project until 2030.
