On July 28, Tonghua in Jilin province experienced continuous heavy rains, resulting in severe waterlogging that disrupted daily life and city traffic. To quickly drain the water and restore normalcy, the local government swiftly implemented emergency measures. A standout initiative involved the use of loaders to push the water off the streets. The loaders were lined up in formation, using their blades to effectively move the water away.

While some citizens questioned the effectiveness of this method, calling it a "futile effort," the Tonghua County government explained that the goal was to push the water into nearby rivers to expedite drainage. The measure proved successful, with water levels noticeably dropping and significantly easing the burden on commuters.
