A peaceful protest in Hartlepool's Murray Street escalated into a violent riot on July 31, with children as young as six and adults hurling bricks, rocks, glass bottles, and other dangerous items at police officers.

Children from the age of 6+ including adults were throwing, bricks, rocks, glass bottles, scrap metals, wood with nails sticking out.
