Wild rabbit struggles to exit riverbank in China
On August 2, 2024, a concerning scene unfolded by a river in Yanling Country, Xuchang, Henan, central China, when a wild rabbit jumped down from the bank to drink water.
After quenching its thirst, the rabbit attempted to swim across to the other side of the river.
However, once it reached the opposite bank, the rabbit found itself unable to climb back onto dry land. The video captures the rabbit frantically circling and appearing helpless by the water's edge, struggling to find a way out of its predicament.
The filmer was fishing alongside and captured the scene, as he claimed that the rabbit eventually managed to climb up the river bank.
