USA: Pomona Semi Spills Over 100 Gallons of Diesel Fuel on Streets

08/21/2024 12:37 am (GMT-0700) | POMONA, Calif. – Los Angeles County Fire Department crews and Pomona police officers responded to a hazmat call at South Reservoir Street and Walnut Avenue in the city of Pomona.
Once firefighters and officers arrived, they located a semi that spilled over 100 gallons of diesel fuel on Reservoir Street and Walnut Avenue. A hazmat team and a cleanup crew were dispatched to the location to assist in the cleanup.
The semi had hit an object on the 60 Freeway and drove off the freeway at South Reservoir Street in Pomona.
Both south and northbound Reservoir Street from the 60 Freeway to Riverside Drive were completely shut down for traffic as they cleaned up the diesel fuel.
